Mercury

Mercury was formed in the early 80s. Over the years, they attained many awards in various music competitions and have performed in hundreds of concerts. Being one of the most long lasting amateur folk singing groups in Hong Kong, Mercury is still a key propellant of folk music. Their other favorite music styles include country and western, light jazz and pop.  They are characterized by having a variety of music instruments including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, clarinet, mandolin, accordion, harmonica and etc, and sometimes drum set is also used.
