近日因為 Sting 隻 16世紀民謠面世﹐又好評如潮﹐於是也買來聽聽﹐仍在消化當中。唱片公司以DGG古典廠牌出版﹐使到他的格調更見提高。另外也因為選唱的民謠99%都是16世紀 John Dowland 的作品。

不過卻引伸了自己對同類 Folk Song Album 的興趣﹐找來唱Countertendor 的 Andreas Scholl 的一張 Wayfaring Stranger Folksongs 專輯﹐由古典品牌 Decca 出版。選取了 17 首美國及英國民謠﹐很對胃口﹐當中一首 Henry Martin 一聽就感到似 Rod 哥唱的那一類﹐是講古仔式的民歌﹐也好似在 Pete & Iris D HKfolk Society 的聚會聽過。正~ 不過 Countertendor 唔係人人可以接受﹐但也不妨推介。

如果講到Sting玩返acoustic同Classical音樂，咁呢個clip一定走唔甩，因為真的賞心悅目。

多謝Chris的推介同Billy的Video分享，正！在我本人聽歌最多的八十年代中期，最勁的流行樂壇男歌手除咗Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, George Michael之外，就應該是Sting了，由Police到個人發展，他的音樂至今仍是那麽吸引，他的English men in New York, Every Breath you take, message in the bottle, Wrap around your finger, don't stand so close to me, ...etc依然是我的最愛！Sting彈古典吉他的手法同Billy的一樣正宗，手指公原全冇突出嚟，勁！好鐘意這樣的音樂分享，青韻網就應該是這樣的，再次多謝Chris and Billy及新買的蒙恬筆!
