Of course Billy is always right! Personally it applies not only to music, it applies to ANYTHING in life at all. Don't start thinking of the difficulties that lie ahead. If you have the interest, start establishing your will. Talking about the guitar, if you look around the world and count the number of good players, you will be amazed to find that there are so many, when they started, only wanted to play only one song or one piece of music. They'd be satisfied then. I know I started that way. I am not a good player, but I feel good when I am able to hear myself playing something I like, after a long struggle of thinking and practicing. You also want to listen to Billy in his younGER (he is young) time. How much interest and will and time he spent on the guitar. Go ahead, play it if you have the interest. I heard Stefan Grossman once said, " Play the guitar. Don't let the guitar play you " Sorry! Old man mumbling again. Rod Why not come to the next party to listen to some Flamenco guitar to develop your interest? |

Re: 西班牙吉他難嗎 ? I think that we in Hong Kong to learn Flamenco, as Billy said, need to learn from a tutor.
Don't be fooled by people like Manitas de Plata who never learned and who never read music. He plays great Gipsy flamenco guitar. Many Gipsies are like that too. Remember, they from a child, play the instrument all day long. The music is just like born into them. Rod |
