Long time no see and chat, miss you all much!!! Because I am very busy recently that I am late to share with you all about my visit to the wonder "John Lennon" Museum in Tokyo on 4 April 2005 (Children Day).



It was a very cold and misty Monday. After I visited the "Hello Kitty Land" with my wife and daughter Sonia, I rushed to the John Lennon Museum alone (of course, my wife and daughter was staying in Shinjuku for further shopping) at around 2:00pm. Unfortunately, I lost some of my way at train that I was tentatively to be there at 3:00pm but I finally got there at around 5:00pm (the museum closed at 6:00pm). Be frank, I wanted to give up at first. However, after seeing a big poster of John Lennon at the train station that I decided to continue my visit even I only had one hour to spend. Luckily, the receptionist allowed to enter and I first watched a 7-minute movie about John Lennon. Interesting, I was the only one audience at that time, little bit lonely!!! Also, I was the only one visitor there at that time!!!



After that I started my journey. The museum is divided into 7 portions to introduce the life of John from his birth to his dealth. If you are really the fans of John (but not the beatles as there are not so many things about beatles), you really cannot miss it as you can see all the real John Lennon's guitars like the Rickenbacker, the Epiphone, the Ovation, the Gibson, Yamaha, etc... and also his first banjo. You know, John started to learn Banjo during his young age. Apart from these, you can also see the uniform, the original sketches of all great songs, passport, the painting. Of course, you can listen all great John's songs during the journey. The most impressed thing is you can see the white grand piano which is really the real one he played "Imagine".





After only an hour watching, the receptionist requested me to leave. I then rushed to the sourvenir shops to buy some T-shirts and magazines. I highly recommend you all the visit there if you have a trip to Tokyo next time. Here is the website

P.S. the most unhappy thing is "no camera allowed" inside the museum that I only took some photos at the entrance hall and the sourvenir shop. I would share these photos with you all later.
