很多謝Dear Whitehorse推介這張"Jackson Browne Solo Acoustic Vol. 1"唱片給我們，這張唱片就應推出已有一年多的時間，也如Dear Derek、Sampson、Mel 的分享，大家可真要去認真欣賞Jackson Browne的作品........

作天談到Neil Young的時候，Michael叔叔曾不經意地這樣說： "在那Rock & Roll大行其道的70年代，有多位的Singer-Songwriter所唱的歌曲雖像沒有甚�玷E昂爆炸性，那帶點悽怨似的歌聲就使人越聽越覺有味道，Neil Young、James Taylor、Jackson Browne、Cat Stevens可就是其中的表表者......"

就是由1972年Jackson Browne的第一張同名大碟開始，到"For Everyman"、"Late For The Sky"、"The Pretender"、"Running On Empty"、"Hold Out"、"Lawyers In Love"......Michael叔叔都第一時間去買他的唱片集，Jackson Browne也是少數我買番CD版所有唱片的一位歌手呢........

在德國出世的Jackson Browne，三歲就返回美國的加洲長大，也就和CSNY、Eagles、James Taylor、Linda Ronstadt等同一個圈子，除了那首經典的'Take It Easy'，在這張"Jackson Browne Solo Acoustic Vol. 1"內的'The Birds Of St. Marks'也就是另一首Jackson Browne同Glenn Frey合作寫成的歌曲......

也如Dear Mel Sir提到，Jackson Browne在1977年"Running On Empty"大碟內的現場Live版的'The Load Out'及'Stay'就是最令人回味的一首歌曲，由幾�嚙�琴聲開始，'The Load Out'歌曲慢慢的由慢轉快，轉到'Stay'的時候，Back-Up所唱的幾段就是歌曲的高潮，全長9分鐘有多的這兩首歌曲串燒，就是令人百聽不厭.......

但我最喜歡Jackson Browne的大碟，就應是那張黑中帶藍，封套很靚1974年的"Late For The Sky"，碟中的'Fountain Of Sorrow'及'For A Dancer'都有收錄在這張"Jackson Browne Solo Acoustic Vol. 1"內，當年'Folk聲高唱'節目中就曾播過我最喜歡的'Fountain Of Sorrow' 很多次；事實上，這張唱片內6分42秒的'Fountain Of Sorrow'，5分36秒的'Late For The Sky'，6分18秒的'Before The Deluge'就可能因歌曲較長的關係，我們就很少聽到電台DJ有完整的播完這幾首歌........

















我記得Dear PPM曾介紹過Joan Baez約在1990年在加洲的一個Joan Baez In Concert演唱會Video，就是有民歌皇后Joan Baez請到Jackson Browne做嘉賓，Joan Baez就是和Jackson Browne合唱了那首珍貴的'Before The Deluge'男女合唱版，不知大家可有睇過這個LD........

我也想推介1996年推出Jackson Browne那張名為Going Home的一張DVD，全碟應有23首歌曲，請來的嘉賓就有他的老拍擋David Lindley，還有David Crosby及拍擋Graham Nash，還有'I Know A Heartache When I See One'的Jennifer Warnes，真的很值得擁有的一張DVD吧........
