今日初二 "流流" , 睇報紙見到Art Garfunkel上星期日於紐約因超速駕駛, 被差佬"周住", 仲發現架車成陣大麻味, 一搜之下, 響佢件衫度搵到小量大麻, 警方向Art提出起訴, 如罪成, 罰一舊水美金. 所以偶像都只不過係人一個.........唔...另一方面, "隊草", 美國普遍得很.....

對他認識不太深﹐只因Simon & Garfunkel是分不開的個體﹐事實上以乎Paul亦較有才華﹐但Garfunkel天生一把靚聲﹐1981年他出版了一張Scissors Cut大碟﹐便收錄我的長青至愛Bright Eyes及French Waltz。同年﹐華納捧了一位新人林嘉寶﹐(當時訛稱是林子祥的妹妹)﹐便曾改編French Waltz成為異國情緣。

很多謝Dear PPM及Chris給我們有關Art Grafunkel的分享，事實上這首Dear Chris推介的'French Waltz'也就是我其中一首最喜愛Art Garfunkel的歌曲，Michael叔叔在Webradio'Folk聲高唱'節目中也曾介紹過這一首很'正'的歌曲.......

在同年將這首'French Waltz'改編成'異國情緣'的Lydia林嘉寶就應是林子祥的堂妹，當年當林子祥從美國回來香港的時候，在香港最親的親人就是林嘉寶及她的媽媽林太了...........事實上，在很多呀Lam林子祥的唱片及多次的林子祥演唱會Concert的和唱都是有Lydia林嘉寶的演唱呢...........可惜，在幾年前，林嘉寶的醫生丈夫因Cancer去世，一家人己移民去美國的三藩市去..........

噢~噢~Art Garfunkel 的歌聲......真真極之醉人!!!

Paul Simon o既才華再加上Art Garfunkel o既靘聲, 簡直就係絕配.

講起這首Art Garfunkel在1981年Scissors大碟內的'正'歌'French Waltz'，就像Dear Sampson所說，除了Art Garfunkel，就曾給很多歌手，如Anne Murray及Neil Young的好朋友Nicolette Larson所唱過..........'French Waltz'的作者Adam Mitchell就是有一個頗傳奇的歷史..........

Adam Mitchell原本就是一個非常民歌的民歌手，但後來就竟幫大花面Rock Band樂隊Kiss寫過不少的歌曲，成為Kiss的專用作曲者，而一直到現在Adam Mitchell都是一個出色的唱片Producer音樂人...........

1944年在美國出世的Adam Mitchell是在加拿大長大，後來回到美國的Greenwich Village發展，組成民歌樂隊Paupers，也給經理人Albert Grossman睇中出唱片，Albert Grossman也即是我們熟識的Peter，Paul & Mary及Bob Dylan的經理人，據說當年Peter，Paul & Mary的很多作品都有Adam Mitchell的幫手錄音...........

在1970年Country歌后Linda Ronstadt的大碟Silk Purse就是有Adam Mitchell做Musical Director，Linda Ronstadt的一首代表作'Long Long Time'就是來自這張Silk Purse大碟.......

再講，很可惜在1994年11月19日Art Garfunkel來到香港大專會堂做個人演唱會時是沒有唱出這首'正'歌'French Waltz'的，那次Art Garfunkel在香港的演唱會，大家又可曾記得?
