很多謝Dear PPM及Dear Tim給我們分享這一首經典民歌'The Last Thing On My Mind'..........對呀，這首Tom Paxton的作品應是Michael叔叔在三十多年前其中一首最先公開表演自彈自唱的一首民歌............
這首'The Last Thing On My Mind'也應是Tom Paxton最早期的作品，在1964年Tom Paxton的第一張大碟Ramblin' Boy內我們可以找到這首歌，在1965年大碟See What Tomorrow我們也可找到Peter，Paul & Mary唱出這首'正'歌，原來Tom Paxton及Peter，Paul & Mary都同是在紐約Greenwich Village成長的民歌好朋友，在1969年大碟Peter，Paul & Mommy內Peter，Paul & Mary唱了另一首Tom Paxton著名民歌The Marvelous Toy我們應不會陌生吧............

事實上，唱過這首'The Last Thing On My Mind'的歌手就非常多，也應是少數給這麼多其他歌手/樂隊重唱過的一首民歌，除了Peter，Paul & Mary及The Brandywine Singers，印象中就還有Joan Baez，Glen Campbell，Judy Collins，Jose Feliciano，Kingston Trio，Chad Mitchell，The Seekers，Willie Nelson，Nana Mouskouri，Anne Murry，Dolly Parton，Neil Diamond，Marianne Faithfull，Mamas & Papas............
