Queen相信是我現時最起愛的樂隊﹐
當今天下應該是最容易唱的歌 - 《We Will Rock You》就是出自他們之手。

相信我跟很多喜歡他們的人一樣﹐是從他的精選開始的。
由於該隻精選沒有收錄了他們最經典的作品《Bohemian Rhapsody》﹐
我到很後期才知道原來這首劉青雲在電影《七月十四》（不太肯定……）曾經大唱『Mama』的歌是他們的。
該隻碟內除了得知我聽了很多次但不知是來自那裡的《We Will Rock You》外﹐
當時最愛的可是這首不太出名的歌……

近期最愛他們的歌﹐相信就是這一首歌。
在85年的Live Aid﹐Freddie Mercury及Brian May破天荒第二度登場﹐
雖然不及Phil Collins般在英美兩地表演﹐
但也可說是少數能出現兩次的表演者。
那一刻﹐他們唱了這首歌﹐非常貼題……

這三首歌在Queen的歷史或者僅屬次選﹐甚至三選﹐
但我可以肯定﹐喜歡Queen的朋友必定聽過﹐更深深愛上。

Yes, these are the second best only. To me, most of the songs in the album "A Night of the Opera" are the best especially "The Prophet's Song" and "Bohemain Rhapsody" Of course, "Love of My Life", "39", "Death of Two Legs", etc... Woh, so many good songs. Also, the double album "Live Killer" also is wonderful. And "Live in Wembly" is perfect.

我接觸的Queen是較後期的﹐ 如Radio Ga Ga, I Want It All,
Man On The Prowl, I'm Going Slightly Mad 及我的All Time Favourite --- Friends Will Be Friends. 然後才反聽以前的作品。

不過很欣賞當年些70年代的大碟﹐不單是封面﹐整張唱片都很有概念。看看Frankie介紹的 A Night At The Opera 及另外一張 A Day At The Races.

"Life of my life" Live version改用木結他伴奏仲正過原版用琴彈,
不過"Bohemian Rhapsody" Live版中, 最關鍵既歌劇合唱部份就播帶, 感覺同原版爭好遠。

Yes, the live version "Love of my Life" is played by Brian May with a 12-string Ovation that is better than the piano version. For "Bohemian Rhapsody", it's really hard to play the opera version in Live that they used to play tape. Also, it's the time for Freddie to change cloth and Brain to change guitar. No doubt, Queen is the perfect live band that they can lead more than 100,000 people clapping together in their song "Radio Ga Ga" and "We will rock you" in the Wembly Stadium Live.
