Sally called when she got the word,

About Alice".
When I rushed to the window,
And I looked outside,
And I could hardly believe my eyes -
As a big limousine rolled up
Into Alice's drive...

很多謝Dear Wilsonkong給我們提番這首英國樂隊Smokie的1976年Top 5'正'歌 Living Next Door To Alice，當年4人組合的Smokie成員是主唱/結他的Chris Norman，彈結他/唱歌的Terry Uttley，低音結他/唱歌的Alan Silson及打鼓的Pete Spencer.........

原來，Chris Norman、Terry Uttley及Alan Silson未組成Smokie前，就是Herman Hermit's 的Peter Noone的前Backing Band成員.........

講番Living Next Door To Alice在上榜後的19年後的1995年，在加上Roy Chubby Brown的讀白，叫做Living Next Door To Alice(Who The F**k Is Alice)，再次上榜及非常的銷得………有些老朋友可能會記得在Webradio時代，Michael叔叔就曾介紹過這首在唱片上當Roy Chubby Brown講到"F**k"這個粗口時，是有"Dut"一聲的蓋過，很是特別的一隻歌曲呢.......

也有些朋友可能會記得，在70年代，香港Band Sound盛放的時代，在香港有隊來自星加坡的樂隊Western Union Band，他們的飲歌也就是這首Livivg Next Door To Alice.........

Smokie經過多次的重組，一直都有到世界名地演唱，包括前幾年在北京非常成功的演唱會，Smokie也有唱過我們不會陌生的'泥路灣'，近年的Line Up就祇有唯一創隊成員Terry Uttley加上Mick McConnell，Steve Pinnell，Mick Craft及Martin Bullard........

以下這個Video，就是當年4人組合時代的Smokie，一首頗有Folk-Rock味道的Living Next Door To Alice.........

他就是今年已55歲的Chris Norman........

有些朋友可能會記得，Chris Norman當年和小炸彈Suzi Quatro合唱的"Stumblin' In"......

每次聽到這首"Stumblin' In"，都使我想到有些相似，Elton John及KiKi Dee合唱的"Don't Go Breaking My Heart".....
