Chinese folk rock is a new cultural revolution sweeping across China. From Beijing to Shenzhen, folk singers/songwriters of different styles, armed with guitars and accordions, traverse the continent to play unplugged gigs to packed houses of dedicated fans. They are music poets who sing with their heart, fiercely reflecting the social consciousness of our times.

The leading figures of this music genre will be gathered for the first time in Hong Kong for two nights of Chinese Folk Rock concerts. Among the stars are the charismatic blind singer Zhou Yunpeng and members of the legendary band Wild Children, Zhang Quan and Zhang Weiwei.

中國最牛謠民，至鼎盛的香江聚唱

新世紀中國最引人注目的音樂現象。 在快速向前奔跑，石屎森林遍地蔓生的中國，有這麼一群人，漂流四方，靠一把結他和歌聲討生活，以歌謠訴說世界。他們在城市的邊緣，以清新簡約的旋律，質樸詩意的歌詞，回歸­原音、直面城市和鄉土、勇敢發聲。 一眾中國新民謠領軍人物首次齊聚香港，帶來內地最質樸的歌聲。

首場演出有被稱為中國最具人文特質民謠歌手、第八屆華語傳媒音樂大獎最佳作詞人、能歌能詩的周雲蓬、把民謠音樂帶進全新空間的小河，以及深受城市白領們歡迎的萬曉利。第二­晚演出則由舌頭樂隊主唱吳吞與傳奇的前「野孩子」樂隊成員張瑋瑋、郭龍及張佺擔綱。
