所謂藍草音樂(Blue Grass)，是二次世界大戰之後出現在美國的一種音樂風格，以人聲為主，精緻乾淨，沒有太多配樂。有點類似美國鄉村音樂，但藍草音樂在和聲上有更多表現，節奏也較為激烈。通常都帶著孤獨與高亢的感覺，很容易辨識。 Cheers, Frankie(Capo) |

Dear Frankie, thanks for your explanation. But I have reservation on "以人聲為主，精緻乾淨，沒有太多配樂". The bluegrass music I know has a lot of instrumentals, including banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar, dobro, mouth harp, etc. Quite often the instrumental part is more important than the vocal part. |

Thanks for the clarification. Yes, I know just little about Bluegrass, only sometimes saw Dolly Parton sang the similar style of music on TV but I really can't clarify about the different between bluegrass and country. We also love the songs of Alison Krauss very much. Throughout the years I have played many of her songs such as "Baby now that I've found you", "I will", "Ghost in this house", "Teardrops will kiss the morning dew" and some more. This time we have prepared two other Alison's songs, but not sure whether we are ready to perform them on Sat. Anyway, thanks for introducing this grear artist here. |
