Rod Foo簡介
Rod Foo(Rod哥) 60年代末期，Rod哥遊學英國時開始自學彈結他。當時美國的復興民歌運動(Folk Revival)方興未艾，其流風亦擴散至英國，感染一眾玩Acoustic的結他手， Rod哥亦深受其影響。隨後他得到結他大師John Renbourn的啟迪，對結他的勾指技法(Fingerstyle)體悟殊深。
到了70年代，他回香港後加入由外籍人士組成的團體"Hong Kong Folk Society"，成為該團體內少數的華籍會員；並參予多次表演，甚獲好評。 Rod哥一手Fingerstyle的結他技藝：生動跳脫，流暢而富有張力。其細密處如行雲流水；奔放處如天馬行空。在他手上一支鋼線木結他、幾個平常的結他和弦，隨手便將一首簡樸的歌謠注入豐富的內涵，發揮得淋灕盡意；配合他獨特的Blues唱腔，處處顯現歐美傳統民謠的遺風餘韻。
近年來，Rod哥在本地幾個民歌組織的邀約下，多次作公開演出。其中的青韻民歌組更為他建構一個個人網頁，有興趣者可瀏覽如下網址：

Re: 2009.10.17 (六) - "Some Folks, Some Blues - Rod Foo Bravo!!! It's my great honor to have a chance working for it. Rod Gor did a professional performance with his heart last night, it was perfect!! The guest performers Tri's-Hi's and Young Strings were always excellent with high standard. The wedding announcement of Felix and Stephanie last night gave the audience and us a big surprise. Wish Felix and Stpehanie all the best in the years to come, congratulations!! Anyway, we really had a great concert last night.

On 17 Oct 2009, it was a suitable moment for us to listen to your music clearly. With calm watching and clear thinking, I found a great mistake, it is...................................... ...................................... ...................................... ...................................... ...................................... ...................................... ........................................I did not come frequently to watch you in past events especially you were No.1 in the rundown of Folk Marathon each year..........(HaHa!) I'm proud to be the one in your show, its another memorable page in my music legend, my big brother, thank you, Rod, and also to my long term partners, we enjoyed it too.
